Re: Weekly Ratings

I expect WWE to continue to use some of their main roster stars on NXT up til WrestleMania anyway to boost their ratings.

Re: Weekly Ratings

The viewership for this week's AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT is in.

AEW Dynamite drew 693,000 viewers on TNT against the 637,000 viewers who tuned into NXT on USA Network. Last week, AEW drew 731,000 and NXT drew 665,000 viewers.

Both AEW and NXT are struggling with viewership due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

In other viewership news, AEW topped the 18-49 demographic and NXT didn't make the top 50 shows on cable.

AEW win the week with 653K compared to NXT 603k. AEW was 15th and NXT 46th. It's strange to me, you would think, with everyone at home ratings would be higher.

Both shows have a 50K or so dip
AEW 677K with 0.23 rating
NXT 673K with 0.16 rating

To be fair to both shows, the entire night's demographic ratings for all shows were lower than usual.

Re: Weekly Ratings

NXT was down and Dynamite was up in total viewers. It was Dynamite that took the night. The previous three weeks saw NXT victorious.

Dynamite was up across the board in the demos while NXT was mostly down. Both shows faced competition thanks to a NASCAR race on FS1 and preliminary bouts from the UFC on ESPN.

AEW Dynamite drew 788,000 live viewers and NXT drew 631,000 live viewers. Last week, AEW drew 759,000 while NXT drew 715,000. This week’s Dynamite, which was touted as Fight for the Fallen, was headlined by AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage with Taz.

As is the case in most weeks, AEW won the 18-49 demographic. NXT ranked #49 among the top 150 shows on cable while AEW was #5.

Here is the demographic breakdown:

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.29 / NXT: 0.14
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.18 / NXT: 0.14
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.40 / NXT: 0.14
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.16 / NXT: 0..05
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.10 / NXT: 0.09
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.20 / NXT: 0.02
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.35 / NXT: 0.19
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.30 / NXT: 0.39

Dynamite drew 755,000 live viewers, which is down from the 792,000 viewers the show previously drew on August 12th. In the 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.31, which is just a tick down from 0.32. Re: Weekly Ratings

The live viewership numbers for WWE NXT is in.

The show was down in total viewers, but the good news is that the rating in the 18-49 demographic stayed steady from last week. NXT drew 824,000 live viewers, which is down from last week’s 853,000.

NXT ranked #24 among the top 150 shows on cable, which was down from #23 from last week. It also did a 0.24 in the 18-49 demographic and that was the same as last week’s 0.24.

This marked the second time this year that NXT didn’t have competition from AEW Dynamite. The rival show was moved to this Thursday on TNT due to the NBA Playoffs. It featured the fallout from Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: XXX event.

AEW officials should be happy with these numbers overall considering the show aired on a different night for the second straight week in addition to going up with the Republican National Convention.

As noted, TNT had to air this show on Thursday instead of its traditional Wednesday broadcast due to coverage of the NBA Playoffs although the games were canceled out of protest because of the shooting of Jacob Blake.

AEW ranked #11 among the top 150 shows on cable
